Shrink Disc

The use of shrink discs to achieve high preloads with lower torque values.

A way to tighten large bolts safely and accurately using simple hand tools. Tensioning is achieved by tightening the pressure screws according to our procedures with lubricants suited to friction forces. For more information, please contact the Technical Department.

Torque is applied to the bolt or nut via a wrench to generate the required tightening load.

The clamping force, in response to the preload, is the force that acts on the parts.
